Senior & Athlete Portrait FAQ
Serving Charlotte, Belmont & Surrounding Areas
How long is a typical session?
Most sessions run up to 2 hours, which allows time for multiple outfits, locations (if applicable), and a relaxed pace so nothing feels rushed.
What should my senior wear?
I recommend bringing 2–3 outfit options that feel comfortable and reflect your senior’s personality. I can also help you with what type of colors and patterns to avoid.
Will you help with posing?
Yes—this is very common.
Every session is fully guided and I also encourage the parent and senior to find some poses and images ahead of the shoot that they prefer.
Do you offer athlete or sports portraits?
Yes—I offer creative athlete and sports portraits as part of your session or as a separate add-on.
These sessions use: custom lighting, require more setup and generally take longer, but offer fun and creative imagery.
How many images are included?
Each session includes:
5 professionally edited images
You’ll receive an online gallery where you can select your favorites.
When will we receive the photos?
You’ll receive your online gallery within approximately 2–4 weeks after the session.
Final edited images are delivered shortly after your selections are made.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions can be done outdoors at a location we choose together or studio-based (for creative/athlete sessions)
I’ll help guide you to locations that fit the look you want.
What happens if we need to reschedule?
No problem—sessions can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice.
Weather-related changes will also be handled as needed.
